St Peter’s Church, Cogenhoe

How to find us

The village of Cogenhoe is a few miles south east of Northampton.  From the M1 junction 15 follow the A45 East towards Wellingborough and Cambridge and you will see the signs for Cogenhoe (same exit as Billing Aquadrome).  Go across Billing Bridge and turn left into Station Road, which is the main street through the village. Church Street is on your left opposite the Royal Oak pub.

Limited car parking is available adjacent to St Peter’s Centre, which is opposite the Church.

Our Postcode is NN7 1LS.

Supporting the Church

During the present crisis we had to close the building for some weeks and cancel our fund-raising events.  As a result of this our income has suffered a drastic reduction.

To continue our ministry we are appealing for donations.  Please see here for more information.

The Hope Centre is receiving fewer Harvest donations this year as many churches are still unable to hold services.  They regularly provide meals to 140 people including 40 sleeping on the streets of Northampton.

Following our Harvest collection shown above we have decided to continue.  Please see here for a shopping list and where to drop off your donations: we will deliver to the Hope Centre warehouse..

Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults

The Diocese asks all churches to provide a link to the Diocesan Safeguarding Page for anyone having concerns.or wanting to read the safeguarding policies and procedures.  Our parish safeguarding officer is Mrs Jean Grubb, tel 01604 890120.

Public Notice of Faculty Petition

We are applying to the Diocese for permission to reinstate the existing Ellacombe Chiming Apparatus and refurbish / replace any pulleys that need attention. Please see the legal public notice and details of the proposal on the Faculty page.
