St Peter’s Church, Cogenhoe

Home

History of the building

A new solid oak altar table, made by a local craftsman,  was installed in the year 2000.

The church was re-ordered in 2006 when extensive dry rot was found in the floor.  The pews and floor were removed and replaced with an open floor area.  This has given us the opportunity to arrange the seating to suit the occasion.  We also had under-floor heating installed.

Our Church logo combines the Shield of Sir Nicholas de Cogenhoe with the Keys of Saint Peter.
